Entergy Texas, Inc., the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and The Conservation Fund have teamed up to plant more than 45,000 trees at Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge, located 45 miles northeast of Houston, as part of a two-year initiative to restore 100 acres of bottomland hardwood forest.
Entergy and C Spire are teaming up on an $11 million fiber infrastructure project spanning over 300 miles in 15 Mississippi counties that will open the door for future delivery of a wide variety of next-generation broadband services to consumers and businesses in some of the most isolated and rural parts of the state.
In Texas, more than 8,200 residents have received more than $11.5 million.
