While restoration continues for customers affected by winter storms earlier this week, another winter weather front is expected to affect Entergy Mississippi’s service area today into the evening.
Mandatory rolling outages took place last night about two hours and affected approximately 60,000 customers across the state, who experienced temporary outages ranging between 11 to 45 minutes.
The latest winter storm is affecting power delivery to our customers in all four states of our territory.
Entergy Texas continues to make progress in restoration during this historic winter event.

Entergy has initiated additional power outages for its customers across its four-state service area. The company is taking this action as directed by our reliability coordinator, the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, as a last resort and in order to prevent more extensive, prolonged power outages that could severely affect the reliability of the power grid.
