Entergy Texas customers can stay informed on restoration via outage map, app, text messages

Entergy New Orleans seeks The New Orleans City Council’s approval to issue $150,000,000 in securitized bonds to replenish the Company’s storm reserve, which was fully depleted following Hurricane Ida restoration efforts.

Entergy Arkansas crews and contractors numbering some 1,600 were working to restore power to more than 27,000 customers across the state Thursday morning, due to outages caused by freezing rain and winds. The number of outages will fluctuate and likely increase as the storm continues to bring additional precipitation.

Entergy Texas, Inc. employees plan and train year-round, ready to respond and restore power when extreme, unpredictable weather causes power outages and downed power lines.

In a matter of days, Arkansas will see temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to the teens, which of course means severe weather will be in the mix. That usually means thunderstorms, floods and tornadoes this time of year, but it could also mean freezing rain.

As part of our ongoing commitment to support our communities as they rebuild following Hurricane Ida, Entergy today awarded $500,000 in shareholder-funded grants to organizations helping minority small business owners recover from the devastating storm.
