Entergy commits $500,000 to bring comprehensive services to New Orleans East

The City of New Orleans, in partnership with Entergy New Orleans, today announced the launch of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Program, featuring free stations for public use that will be installed across the city.

As part of our ongoing commitment to support our communities as they rebuild following Hurricane Ida, Entergy today awarded $500,000 in shareholder-funded grants to organizations helping minority small business owners recover from the devastating storm.

Entergy Louisiana, Entergy New Orleans and the Entergy Charitable Foundation have helped support Louisiana communities in 2021 by contributing nearly $3 million to nonprofit organizations across the state during the first half of the year.

The Greater New Orleans Foundation officially announced that the fifth annual GiveNOLA Day will take place on May 1, 2018 from 12 a.m.–11:59 p.m.

Support from the Entergy Charitable Foundation has helped Posse New Orleans fulfill the college-bound dreams of more than 150 high-school scholars, many of whom would have otherwise lacked the resources to continue their education.

As of today, Entergy New Orleans, Inc. welcomes some 22,500 electric customers in Algiers that were previously served by Entergy Louisiana, LLC.
