Eight communities win matching grants to further economic development goals
Entergy Louisiana recently provided a $10,800 grant to a local nonprofit that supports Grand Isle property and business owners affected by Hurricane Ida.
From supporting the environment, education and low-income areas to teaching students about nuclear energy, grants were provided in communities where Entergy’s nuclear plants operate. This includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Michigan.
Volunteers will also help qualifying customers claim their Earned Income Tax Credits
During the first three quarters of 2021, Entergy has helped power stronger, healthier communities by awarding $10 million to more than 880 nonprofit organizations located across the company's service area.
