Entergy Louisiana took another important step toward modernizing its generating fleet, enhancing reliability and securing a long-term supply of lower cost energy for customers with today’s ceremony formally kicking off construction of the Lake Charles Power Station.
Entergy Louisiana today began work on the second phase of construction of a multi-phase, $69 million upgrade to the electric transmission infrastructure along the Lapalco Boulevard corridor on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish from Bayou Segnette to Harvey.

Entergy Louisiana, LLC will ring in the New Year in Jefferson Davis Parish with the start of an approximately $100 million technological upgrade to its electric power transmission grid.
