Volunteers give back for school’s 2nd annual Beautification Day

Entergy Louisiana representatives and local officials gathered in Lake Charles today to mark the start of phase one of the company’s comprehensive grid resilience plan. The groundbreaking ceremony, set against a backdrop of bucket trucks and utility workers, heralds a new era of hardened infrastructure and accelerated, less costly recovery for communities vulnerable to major storms.

Tracking electricity usage over time can help customers identify habits that contribute to higher usage and budget their monthly expenses. With their myAdvisor dashboard, customers have access to usage and cost details, bill history, bill projections and analyzer tools and more.

The start of the new school year is just around the corner, and Entergy Arkansas hopes to help students start off on the right foot. Nearly $20,000 in charitable grants to nonprofits and school organizations will be used for local school supply and shoe drives, along with free haircuts.

The website is a one-stop shop to help customers manage energy usage and save money.

At a time when budgets may be tight with back-to-school shopping and higher summer expenses, Entergy Arkansas customers will be getting a break on their August bills.
