Severe thunderstorms and high winds are moving through the Entergy Texas territory Thursday evening, April 9th, causing wide spread outages.
On Saturday, March 7, Entergy Mississippi completed restoration efforts related to severe weather earlier in the week. The storm damaged our equipment and caused power outages for more than 15,000 customers on Wednesday, March 4. Customers who can safely take power have been restored.
As of 6 p.m., Entergy Mississippi has restored power to more than 12,600 customers affected by storms that struck our service area on Wednesday and Thursday. About 2,926 customers remain without power, down from a peak of 15,560.
Entergy Mississippi crews have restored power to more than 7,000 customers after severe weather moved through our service several times during the day. As of 6:30 p.m., 8,392 customers remain without power, down from a peak of 15,560.
