Entergy Louisiana Restoration Efforts for June 24 Storm

A line of severe thunderstorms packing strong winds, heavy rains and lightning struck Louisiana Monday, knocking out power to more than 37,500 customers at its peak. The storms hit North Louisiana the hardest. As of 6 p.m. Monday, June 24, approximately 5,950 customers in northern Louisiana remain without power.

Severe thunderstorms and high winds moved through the Entergy Mississippi territory, Thursday morning, June 20, causing numerous outages which peaked at 10,164 customers. Damage assessment continues, and additional resources have been brought in to assist in the restoration effort. As of 9 a.m., Friday, June 21, 8,063 customers have been restored. We will continue to work to restore power to the remaining 2,101 customers.

Entergy Mississippi Continues Restoration Efforts

Severe thunderstorms and high winds moved through the Entergy Mississippi territory, Thursday morning, June 20, causing numerous outages which peaked at 10,164 customers. Damage assessment continues, and additional resources have been brought in to assist in the restoration effort. As of 6 p.m. 5,895 customers have been restored. We will continue to work to restore power to the remaining 4,269 customers.
