The first of multiple rounds of winter precipitation moved through Arkansas overnight bringing freezing rain and ice accumulations and causing more than 7,500 customer outages at peak this morning.
Additional crews are being called in to help Entergy Arkansas respond to potential outages caused by extreme winter weather.
We anticipate most remaining customers who can safely receive power to be restored tonight. Please be aware as ice on tree limbs melt, the limbs can sometimes cause damage when returning to their normal position, potentially damaging additional equipment.
