After a weekend of severe weather that caused widespread damages to the electric grid, today provided favorable weather conditions for crews to make remarkable progress in repairs and rebuilding both transmission and distribution systems.
Crews have worked around the clock to safely restore power since multiple rounds of severe weather caused widespread outages across Entergy Arkansas’ service territory this weekend. Currently, 6,045 customers remain without power.

Crews are working around the clock to safely restore power after multiple rounds of severe weather caused outages. We’ve restored a total of 57,000 customers since the event(s), started about 3 p.m. on Friday. Currently, 4,579 customers remain without power.
High winds, lightning and heavy rain moved through the state on the evening of May 24, into early morning of May 25, resulting in a peak of 24,000 customer outages.
Entergy’s Louisiana storm team has restored power to more than 90,000 customers statewide after 80-plus mph winds and a tornado impacted the southern region late Thursday night.
All customers who can safely receive power are expected to be restored by the end of the day.
