The company was nominated by its employees as one of the best places to work in the Greater Houston area

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – For the second consecutive year, Entergy Texas has been named a Top Workplace in the Greater Houston metro area. The Houston Chronicle award is based on employee feedback and highlights the company’s commitment to building a premier work culture.

"To be recognized by our employees two years in a row showcases the importance of a people-first culture,” said Eliecer Viamontes, president and CEO of Entergy Texas. “Whether it’s investing in professional development or identifying new ways to show appreciation, we are constantly looking for ways build a healthy work environment where employees feel valued.”

Winners are determined through an anonymous employee engagement survey administered by Energage, which measures 15 drivers of company culture, such as fairness, respect, support, growth and alignment. It's no secret that Texas is growing, and Houston is home to one of the most competitive workforces in the country. With more than 5,000 nominations, Entergy Texas secured a position in the top 200 companies named as a 2023 Top Workplace.
