Entergy Arkansas Storm Update – 5/6/21 @ 6 p.m.

A line of severe thunderstorms impacted the state producing widespread damage and causing 22,110 customer outages at peak early Tuesday morning. As of 6 p.m., 99% of customers impacted from the storm outages Tuesday have been restored. Our teams continue to work and support restoration efforts as quickly and safely as possible. All customers who can safely take power are expected to be restored by 10 p.m. tonight, with the possibility of some isolated customers carrying into tomorrow morning.

Should you have structural damages and/or damages to your electrical service connection equipment please ensure all repairs and any required inspections are completed as soon as possible to avoid any further service delays. Northwest Arkansas

Boone County

As of 6 p.m., there are approximately 1,070 customers without power from a planned outage to allow for repairs to our transmission lines. Due to complications the outage is lasting longer than anticipated, however we expect these affected customers to be restored this evening and no later than 10 p.m. tonight.

Northeast Arkansas

Lawrence County

As of 6 p.m., there are approximately 205 customers without power, down from a peak of 5,091 when the storm first impacted the Lawrence county area Tuesday morning. We expect all remaining customers who can safely take power to be restored by 10 p.m. tonight.

Randolph County

As of 6 p.m., there are approximately 176 customers without power, down from a peak of 574 when the storm first impacted the Randolph county area Tuesday morning. We expect all remaining customers who can safely take power to be restored by 10 p.m. tonight.
