Rodriguez Honored for Collaborative Spirit, Professional Leadership

03/29/2021

Deanna Rodriguez, vice president of regulatory and public affairs for Entergy Texas, was recognized as one of the Top 100 Diversity Leaders in Energy at the 2021 National Energy Inclusion Conference.

One of only two Entergy employees honored with the distinction, Rodriguez was selected for her professional leadership, management style, collaborative vision and innovative spirit. An Entergy employee for more than 27 years, she has repeatedly demonstrated the impact of successful community and stakeholder outreach on the company's bottom line.

"I can't think of anyone more deserving of this recognition," said Sallie Rainer, president and CEO of Entergy Texas. "A true champion of strategic collaboration, Deanna has provided positive, lasting impacts not only on the industry but, most importantly, for our customers and communities."

In addition to her work at Entergy, she is also the vice-chair of the Association of Electric Companies of Texas. Rodriguez serves on the boards of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the Texas Senate Hispanic Research Council, the Subiendo Board for the University of Texas at Austin's School of Business and Austin PBS.
